This year, I replaced several of my pots with All Clad, stainless steel lined pots with stainless steel handles. I had quite a few tin lined pots whose lining melted from inappropriate use or wore thin. (Retinning is expensive and the pans understandably scared my house guests into not using them at all). I also have several that are stainless lined but have cast iron handles that rust if you don't carefully wash by hand and dry immediately. Annoying. All Clad has solved all these problems and, as far as I am concerned, are the best copper pots on the market. Heavy, 18 gauge, balanced and well engineered. No melt, no rust, no fuss.
